Rare Early 20th Century Pocket Globe.

A rare tin plate pocket globe dating from around 1900 – 1910 or may be earlier dating to the late 19th century. It shows the world as it was and highlights the British empire in pink. It would of originally had a tin plate case which it sat in, this is now missing. The condition of this globe is very good, it does show a little wear to the surface but it still has good colour and it has a small shallow dent in the north Atlantic and another just over the Falklands, but with no loss to the surface. A very rare piece which measures approximately 2 inches in diameter.
