Famous Regiments – The West Yorkshire Regiment.

One of a series of books giving a history of a regiment, in this case the West Yorkshire regiment and the old 14th regiment of foot. It covers the period from 1742 to 1956 including the Waterloo, the Crimean war WW1 and 2 etc. Quick and easy to read, not a concise volume but a lot packed into 77 pages, for a basic history highlighting the great battles, this is a great little book.
