WW2 Japanese Army Officer Web & Leather Sword Belt with Chain Hanger

Here is a hard to find classic Pacific War Army Officer's sword belt. Japanese Officers wore sword in combat. They were carried on hangers supported by very wide belts. These belts were either early leather or later web belts with leather fittings. For every 1000 swords returned as souvenirs, perhaps only one sword belt was returned which is why these are so hard to find. This is the classic Pacific War belt. It once had the officer's dog tag sewn on the back   It retains a small pouch for his signature stamp on the front.
