WW2 Cloth Division Patch 3rd Infantry Division

The 3rd Infantry Division, under the command of Major General Bernard Montgomery, was sent overseas to France in late September 1939. They were evacuated from Dunkirk in 1940 and they were the first British formation to land at Sword Beach on D-Day, 6 June 1944, as part of the invasion of Normandy. This badge is in very good original condition, but it has been used and taken from a uniform.
