Vintage Oil on Board of the Schooner Lilla Dan.

A very attractive oil on this wooden board of the Schooner, the Lilla Dan. The Lilla Dan is a 35-meter topsail schooner built in 1951 by J. Lauritzen as a training ship, she has been with the same company ever since. Taken out of service as a training vessel in 1996, the Lilla Dan was completely renovated and put to work as a charter ship, and she is still sailing today. This painting is very well executed in traditional maritime style. It is dated October 1951 and was probably commision by the company. It measures; 15 x 10 inches and comes in good condition.
