WW2 9th Gurkha Rifles Officer's Boss Cap Badge

A theatre made example, with a cast silver plated 9 below crossed kukris (unusually with the left crossing the right, but not unprecedented (see 9GR D17 in the below publication), with a '9' below and a King's Crown above mounted on a black corded cloth boss. Screw fitting bent slightly it appears to have been slightly damaged and threaded, other than that it is in good condition. Worn with a crown above from 1936 - 1947.Museum publication 'Insignia of the 9th Gurkha Rifles' 9GR D17 / D20 / D21 refer, but this does not match there exactly.Comm EdBr
