Highland Light Infantry (HLI) Other Ranks White Metal Glengarry Cap Badge - Long Scroll Pattern

A die struck cap badge, not properly cut out on bottom section of the cross arms. Two original D style loops to the reverse. Allegedly these appeared during WW1 and possibly the long scroll is just a manufacturer's variation as opposed to signify a particular battalion or force (i.e. territorials).
