Die cast flat backed collar badge with two original D shaped loops. Some damage to the numeral two on the front otherwise in good overall condition. Circa 28mm tall.According to Cox, Private George Price of this Battalion was the last allied soldier to fall in the Great War, being killed in action near Mons at 10.50 a.m. on the 11th November 1918.Cox p62 / Charlton p44 refers.Comm BoHa (459)
