WW2 Home Front - Women's Plastic Economy Home Guard Badge

Plastic beret / breast badge with original and functional pin and fittings to reverse. Maker's name A.Stanley & Sons of Walsall and number 1-A. Nice and flat with no distortion and only minor crazing. Normally associated with the women who served in the HG. Circa 41mm in diameter. Issued from July 1943 and could be worn on left side of a coat or dress, but frequently seen worn as a Hat Badge. Comm DaMc (240)
