US Civil War Era, Leather Shot Flask, American Flask & Cap Co.

Original era manufacture. Pressed leather shot flask with a hunting scene on each side. Brass pour spout with an intricate spring mechanism, maker marked on one side, AM.FLASK & CAP CO,  a New York City firm in business from 1857-1870  Overall length measures just over 8 inches. Seams are tight, small glue repair on the bottom.
