German WW2 Horseshoe Pouch

German WW2 Horseshoe Pouch-A light brown leather horseshoe shaped pouch with brown leather closing straps and steel buckles finished in a black paint. The high-quality stiff light brown leather is in very good condition with only minimal scratching and discoloration spots from age. The back of this pouch is reinforced with a cardboard like material giving it extra support. The inside of the pouch is lightly maker stamped and dated 1939. During WWII the Germans employed more than 2 million horses during the campaign, its always interesting to remember they were a huge resource for the German military. Nice display piece.
