Superb WW1 German Trench Art Shell 1915

This well decorated shell case is full of marks on the base, it is clearly dated for 1915 and originated from a 7.7cm field canon, it was manufactured in Karlsruhe and has inspection marks and lot number etc amongst others on the base. The case has been decorated with a basket with branches and leaves. It comes in excellent condition and stands 9 inches high.
