Indian Army - 1st Punjab Regiment bi-metal Cap Badge, pre 1947

This cap badge is of two part construction and of Indian manufacture, gilding metal star and crown with a white metal central mounted riveted device, with two original tombstone style fixings to reverse (north - south) complete with cotter pin. Circa 4.1cms tall. In very good condition. A pleasing example. The 1st Punjab Regiment was a regiment of the British Indian Army from 1922 to 1947. It was transferred to the Pakistan Army on the Partition of India in 1947. Comm BoHa (411)
