WW1 Bombardment of the Hartlepools 6th December 1914 Damage to Moor Terrace plus trench manned by the Royal Engineers

Postally unused with minor corner wear. Evidence of having been removed from an album. Contemporary hand to the reverse identifies the largest house in the image as being called Greencliffe, which was occupied by army officer's and the sandbag wall below was a trench manned by the Royal Engineers. Legitimate military targets after all it would appear! Coll.
