A superb large badge with five of five original brass tabs (some bending) to reverse for securing to a leather martingale badge (now missing). VR cypher to centre, most probably silver plated and in great condition with no damage and sharp detail. Circa 11.5cms tall.A variety of non regular units possible, yeomanry, rifle volunteers, militia, colonial, Staff or Lord Lieutenants of the County or maybe even senior police officers.
