Duke of Cornwalls Light Infantry DCLI (Territorials) Officers Silver Plated Collar Badges - Gaunt

A matched and facing pair of small silver plated die cast officer's collar badges with two original silvered loops to the reverse of each. Both maker marked JR Gaunt London. In superb condition. Worn 1951 - 1956 (Sealed pattern 25th April 1951 and replaced in by a silver anodised version, sealed 10th October 1956). Worn in silver plate in facing pairs on No 1 and No 3 Dress. Scarce.Churchill does note that this smaller badge may have been worn in Silver Plate by Warrant Officers in the early 1930s.Churchill Nos 901 and 913 refer.Comm SiSa
