WW2 Royal Air Force RAF Warrant Officer's / Officer Cadet's Gilt Metal Cap Badge - King's Crown

Gilt bright, retaining strips behind the king's crown to hold in place an original maroon velvet backing, two original loops, correct black painted panel between base of crown and the back of the eagle. Circa 5.5cms wide and 6.1cms tall. In very good condition. This cap badge design was peculiar to warrant officers and officer cadets. Tanner 'The Flying Services' p260 refers. K33
