British WWI M1907 Hooked Guard Bayonet, 1913

Original era manufacture. We haven't had too many examples of this scarce bayonet in our hands over the years, this is an original, unmodified example retaining it's distinctive hooked guard. Overall very similar in appearance to the early style Japanese Type 30 bayonet. Bright steel blade exhibiting a cleaned appearance and evidence of corrosion pitting along it's length. Clear markings on both sides of the ricasso. Dark steel patina to the hooked guard and pommel with a working lock button. Original finish wooden grips exhibiting wear and chipping to their surfaces. No scabbard.
