Description

A die struck browning copper cap badge with two original loops (squashed and damaged in respect of one in particular but still functional). In good overall condition excepting the damage to the loops. This is the six maple leaves design badge - as worn in WW1 by personnel stationed in both the UK and on the Western Front. Maker marked Tiptaft B'ham to base of crown. Cox No 935 / Charlton p173 refer. Comm BoHa (425)
