Description

This locally made designation badge flash was worn by only a handful of military staff on the DPM military uniform in Pokhara and on the 'blue uniform' of the Gurkha Civil Guard Staff, the MT staff in Pokhara and at the HQ in Kathmandu. It was adopted in 2004. It was a short-lived issue being replaced by the standard Gurkha Brigade TRF in the following year. Locally made in Kathmandu. Circa 55mm wide and 40mm tall. Some glue and display board green felt from which it has been removed to reverse otherwise in good condition. Scarce. Hodges, Lt-Col (2005) 'British Army Badges', p216. Ser 6 refers. Comm EdBr
