Mounted gilt device on silver plated button base, with fixed shank and backmarked Gaunt London. Circa 16mm in diameter. The Volunteers and Territorials wore reversed metal buttons, as found here. Worn circa 1883 - 1914. In very good condition. Scarce. Col D. Wood No 616 refers. A9.15(3/3)
