WW2 Home Front - Bradford Home Guard Proficiency Badge Enamelled Home Guard Badge

An original wartime issue 'Bradford Home Guard uniform badge', circular silvered brass example with blue enamel centre and an embossed bar over laurel sprays inscribed 'PROFICIENCY BADGE', the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Fattorini Bradford' and two original deliberately flattened loop fittings north and south indicating a style of badge worn on a sleeve. Good condition, no damage to the enamel, a few blemishes / stains to silvered finish, one edge knock at about 7 o'clock but does not show from the front view. Circa 29mm in diameter.
