This pattern of naming is correct, earlier than most and not often encountered. Scarce.This pattern was worn post 1908, the portcullis is surmounted by a ducal coronet (the arms of the Dukes of Beaufort).This unit was 24th in the order of precedence of yeomanry regiments.
