Description

Removed from cap, still tied with tidily bow, in good condition. Attached to it by a single staple is a paper label which summarises this ship's service (incorrectly states it is a destroyer of 1918), a destroyer which entered service in service from 1899, lost in a collision on the 1st April 1918 with the trawler 'John Fitzgerald' in the North Sea, and which earned the following Battle Honour: Belgian Coast 1914 - 17. There was also a gunboat of this name on the China station in the 1930s and early 1940s. Comm BoHa (431)
