British WWI Silver War Badge, R.N. 12942

Original period manufacture. Silver War Badge, numbered on the reverse, R. N. 12942. That number without the R.N. prefix was presented to Edward James Harris, of the Essex Yeomanry, who was released from service due to sickness in 1916. The attaching pin looks to be a period replacement.
