Indian Army Large Solid Die Cast White Metal Bugle Cap / Pouch Badge

I believe this is pre 1947 British Indian Army, but have now forgotten the unit. A large solid die cast bugle with two original brass loops to the reverse. Well made. It could of course be a British volunteer unit (6th Cornwalls?) but looks Indian made to me. Circa 4.4cm tall. Any information welcome.Comm JoPa (84)
