Red plastic badge with pin to reverse. Maker's name F&G. In good condition with slight fading to red with age, but no distortion evident. Circa 3.1cm tall. Introduced in 1942, the red coloured badges were worn by part-time stewards appointed by local authorities. Jon Mills 'Doing Their Bit' p179, T4 refers. Coll.
