Federated Malay Armed Forces Maintenance Corps Officer's Cast Bi Metal Cap Badge

A two part bi metal cast metal cap badge of riveted construction, Gilt in lovely bright condition with riveted silver plated overlay, with two original loops to the reverse. A tiger superimposed on crossed Kris and Scabbard with the 11 pointed federation star above. Circa 4.8cm tall. In lovely condition.This unit conducted the functions equivalent to those of the RASC, RAOC and REME in the British Army. This pattern worn from 31 August 1957 until full Independence in 1963.H
