Durham Light Infantry DLI White Metal Cap Badge (Fat Bugle Variety), King's Crown

Not the typical DLI Cap badge in white metal, but a manufacturer's variation from WW1 which I call the 'fat bugle' variety. Original slider, but this was mounted on wooden board in an old frame and the bend in the slider has been over extended by the person who put it on the board to make it fit. It extends too far out before the down turn as a result. Some loss of detail from polishing otherwise in good condition once the reshaping of the slider is taken into account. Comm FB
