Malaysian Army GKK 11th Special Service (Special Forces Commando) Regiment Hat Cap Beret Badge

A fairly large and chunky metal badge with painted white and red eyes and red open mouth, the rest in a gilt/gold coloured finish with scroll below. Paintwork and gilt in very good condition. Two integral fixing loops to reverse. An attractive badge.The 11th Special Service Regiment (Grup Gerak Khas (GGK)) is also called the Counter-Terrorism Regiment as it specialises in dealing with a broad range of operations (especially counter-terrorism operations), hostage rescue, Counter-Revolutionary Warfare etc. Trained by the British 22nd SAS and US Green Berets, this regiment is smaller compared to 21st and 22nd Commando, and is organised into 4 Sabre Squadrons. Only those who have served no less than 6 years in the Commando Regiments are eligible for selection.H24
