Sold
$1050.00

Description

Original era manufacture. Early quality dagger with nickel fittings, browned scabbard and a fairly dent-free lower fitting ball. Small pattern Eickhorn trademark set just above the reverse ricasso, a location often seen on Rohm presentation daggers. No evidence of a removed Rohm inscription can be seen. The blade is clean and bright, no corrosion problems, just some clouding to the surface, with lots of original cross grain polish visible at the base. Nickel upper and lower guards, with an SA group marking of Wf (Westfalen) Alloy eagle and enameled SA disc above. Dark brown wood grip, displaying normal wear and age, no cracks or chips. Browned, near dent-free steel body retaining most of it's original finish, all fitting screws are present. attached to the suspension ring is an original brown leather hanger with nickel fittings. Overall a very nice looking, solid example.
