Description

Original era manufacture. Early quality dagger with nickel fittings, browned scabbard with typical denting to the lower fitting ball. Karl Malsch Spitzer trademark are quite clear. The blade is clean and bright, no corrosion problems, just some clouding to the surface, with some original cross grain polish visible. Nickel upper and lower guards, with an alloy eagle and enameled SA disc above. Lighter brown wood grip, displaying normal wear and age, no cracks or chips, diagonal scratch just above the lower guard. Browned, near dent-free steel body retaining most of it's original finish, all fitting screws are presen. District marked Mi (Mitte) on the reverse of the lower guard. Nice early dagger.
