US WWII USMC Canteen Cover with Drainhole

Original era manufacture. US WWII USMC canteen set, long attaching flaps with a bottom drainhole opening. WWI pattern, aluminum bodied canteen with cork, AGM 1942, aluminum cup with a steel folding handle E.A. Co., dated 1945. Normal age and wear, fraying to the canvas flap holding the belt hook in place. Named to LYNCH on the inside flap.
