A very neat die struck and voided Royal Household badge. The Royal Crest with Queen Victoria Crown (QVC) within the Garter HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE. 4 single retaining wires to the reverse (one of two pairs remaining on each securing point). Some polishing to the face of the lion otherwise in very good condition. Circa 7.8cm tall and 3.9cm wide. Scarce.Whilst this looks like the badge also worn by the 15th King's Own Hussars, it is the design of the Queen Victoria's Royal Household livery.C15
