West Indies - Barbados Regiment White Metal Cap Badge

An extremely attractive and scarce cap badge (post 1948 issue), well made in white metal to the Defence Force of the Caribbean Commonwealth island of Barbados. Two original lugs (east -west). Slight polishing to finer high points, but about 9 out of 10 condition-wise. 5.1cm across and 5cm high. Barbados only has a population of about 250,000 and the island gained its independence from Britain in 1966.
