Description

White metal cap badge with two loops to the reverse worn by the territorial battalion of the Cameron Highlanders. St. Andrew above a scroll, Cameron, within a wreath of thistle flanked by two more scrolls, Liverpool Scottish. Embossed Gaunt London to reverse of cross, which is quite indistinct and hard to read. Sealed on 28/3/1938. The Liverpool Scottish ceased to be the 10th Battalion King 's Regiment in 1937 and became part of the Cameron Highlanders. Much whiter in colour than the photo suggests. K&K Vol 2 No 2364 refers. A140.3
