Royal Army Service Corps ( RASC ) Scarce George V ( GV ) pattern brass cap badge

Original slider to reverse (some twisting and light scratches). Has been lacquered but in good worn condition. It is a mystery as to why this should have be such a hard badge to find, the assumption being that earlier non Royal title cap badges were to be used up first.G172.5
