Mid-WWII Overpainted Medic's IMP M1 Helmet Liner

This is an original mid-WWII International Molded Plastics manufactured M1 helmet liner. Hidden beneath the liner's field repaint are three original medic's crosses, which would display nicely should the new owner decide to uncover them. The green-painted steel A-washers date the liner's production from mid-1943 to mid-1944. The khaki suspension is strong and intact. It comes complete with an original headband and neckband. This liner is a must-have for the collector with an unaccompanied medic's helmet shell.
