Description

A SWB officially impressed B49088 awarded to Gunner William Keen, RFA. An unmarked silver circlet inscribed 'For King And Empire Services Rendered' bearing crowned 'GRI' Imperial Cypher to voided centre. In very good condition, bright cleaned and lacquered, original C clasp and pin. Circa 32mm in diameter. Copy of CD version of SWB roll entry and copy of WW1 Medal Index Card (MIC) to be supplied.132746 Gunner William Keen, 6th Battalion Reserve Brigade Royal Field Artillery Royal Garrison Battalion, Rifle Brigade. Served overseas. He enlisted on 19th November 1915 and was discharged on 26th November 1918 due to sickness, aged 32. Entitled to BWM and VM pair.Approximately 1,150,000 badges were issued to all services, which had to be claimed and then approved.Comm JoPa (150)
