Aeronautical Inspection Directorate (AID) On HM Service Mini lapel badge - Ladies Issue

A small gilt brass and enamel lapel badge as worn by this civilian organisation involved in the quality control of the aviation manufacturing industry during WW2. Original pin fitting (fully functional) with maker details 'Roden London' to reverse. In very good condition with no damage to the enamel.
