WWII Fixed Loop M1 Helmet & Inland Liner (1942 Set)

Sold
$550.00 —

Description

This original early-WWII M1 helmet set is in excellent condition. If in need of an American helmet, representative of any branch of service at nearly any point in the war, this is the ideal choice. The McCord manufactured front seam fixed loop helmet shell has a heat stamp of 250B, dating its production to August 1942. The helmet retains its original factory paint, cork texture, and brass-buckled khaki chinstraps. The Inland manufactured liner's original olive drab factory paint finish is near mint condition. It features non-painted steel A-washers and a khaki suspension, which dates the liner's production from mid-1942 to mid-1943. The khaki suspension is strong and intact. It comes complete with its original, faintly stamped neckband and a recently installed Joseph N. Eisendrath Co. double wire headband.
