US 1899 Philippine Insurrection Medal, Rim Marked No.194, Gen'l.Yeatman, Sioux Campaign 1876

Original era manufacture. Bronze planchet with its original ribbon and full wrap brooch suspension. Numbered on the edge No 194. The ribbon is sound, showing surface fraying only. This medal was awarded to Richard Thompson Yeatman 1848 - 1930, West Point, Class of 1872. During his long military career he served with the 14th US Infantry for many years, including the Big Horn Expedition of June-October 1876. His Indian War Medal is number 113.
