Description

Nice 'Panzerkampfabzeichen in Silber' (PAB in silver). The Panzer Assault Badge in silver was instituted by 'Generaloberst Walther von Brauchitsch' on '20 December 1939' for award to all ranks of tank personnel who served as a tank commander, driver, gunner or radio operator and had been involved in three different armored assaults on three different days. This is a nice 'Feinzink' example which has great detail and still retains a fair amount of it's original silver finish. Of course are the pin and catch complete, the catch is slighly bent. The badge is nicely maker marked with 'R.K.' indicating production by the company of 'Rudolf A. Karneth & Söhne' in Gablonz an der Neiße. Nice original example in good used condition.
