Victorian Royal South Wales Borderers ( SWB ) Militia Other Rank's Brass Glengarry Badge

Voided variety, with good detail. Worn circa 1870s - 1881. In 1881, by the Royal South Wales Borderers Militia ( Royal Radnor nad Brecknock Rifles ) it was redesignated as the 3rd (Militia) Battalion, South Wales Borderers. Circa 7.8cm tall with two original lugs to the reverse. Unfortunately this is a much reproduced badge with poor quality copies regularly appearing on a well known auction site. This one is of superior quality to those listed elsewhere but happy to be corrected. B7.6
