WWII M1 Helmet Liner Headband (Mid-Late War)

This is an original WWII Hickok Mfg. Co., Inc. M1 helmet liner headband. It exhibits green painted steel clips and a blackened brass buckle, a combination introduced on November 5, 1943 and utilized until the end of the war. The headband's leather is in good condition. This would be an ideal headband for a high-pressure helmet liner with either green painted steel or blackened brass A-washers.
