1st ( Royal ) Dragoons Other Ranks Bi-metal Cap Badge

Bi-metal cap badge with original slider, in reasonable condition with some service wear. Not a lot one can say about this badge other than many resorted to unofficial private purchase brass eagles to make up for its uninspiring design. The eagle was of course to commemorate the capture of the French Eagle of the 105th Regiment of Infantry at Waterloo. K&K Vol 1, Fig. 751 refers.
