15th ( King's ) Hussars Other Ranks Bi-Metal Cap Badge

A fairly uninspired badge which carries the motto 'Merebimur' ( 'We shall be worthy'). Original slider and in very good condition, with some slight staining to reverse of slider. An all brass economy version was issued in 1916. The regiment was amalgamated with the 19th Hussars in 1922. K&K Vol 1, Fig. 777 refers. B60.5
