Early-WWII M1 Helmet Liner Rayon Hawley Neckband (Size 5, J&J)

This is an original early-WWII rayon neckband. These were issued in three different sizes during the war: 3, 4, and 5. This Johnson & Johnson manufactured example is a size 5. It features nickel-coated brass United Carr snaps. This would be an ideal neckband for all helmet liners with rayon suspensions - including Hawleys.
