Early-WWII M1 Helmet Liner Headband (Double Wire)

Sold
$125.00 —

Description

This is an original and faintly stamped WWII headband. It features the 'double wire' buckle variation, first pattern spring clips, and no cut-outs on the leather padding, dating the headband's production to early-1942. The slightly sweat-stained leather remains quite soft and pliable. This would be an ideal headband for all helmet liners with non-painted steel A-washers (including Hawleys and low-pressure liners).
