WWII M1 Helmet Liner Headband (Early-Mid War)

This original WWII Comfort Slipper Corp. manufactured helmet liner headband is in great condition. The leather remains quite soft and pliable. The hardware is green painted steel, dating the headband's production from mid-1942 to late-1943. This would be an ideal headband for a helmet liner with either non-painted or green painted steel A-washers.
